I think that sentence was pretty nonsensical

I dreamed that a little girl was in my bathtub playing hopscotch
and saying “bugger that for a lark”,
but when I looked closely at her, I realised that it was me when I was a little kid.
So I said “come out of the bathtub now” and she looked at me and said “Sod that for a game of soldiers”
???!!!!???
If you could elaborate, that would be fantastic
Because, I don’t know when little me turned into a Brit, and I don’t know what those two expressions mean.
Or, why I was hopscotching in the bathtub
and why did I get all mom, and all, out of the bathtub noowwww?
I mean
If that were real life
And I had a real live little brit version of me in my bathtub
I might just put the seat down on the toilet and sit and watch for a while
I might also call around and see who knows if Im on drugs
